Life Advice N Motivation -Week 11: Faceing The Painful Truth

This week on life advice and motivation, we talk about....

The Truth.
Or perhaps its better to say The Truths of life because there is more than one truth in life.

Sometimes truths of life that we come to face are amazing, other times they are painful and ugly. so much so that we can barely go on at peace in our lives.

at times things are so bad that we have no motivation to go on. we lose all hope in everything.

A great strength comes from being able to accept what is before us and move forward through the obstacles.

accepting things such as death, loss, failure, or rejection, become a challenge.

So we ask, how do we face a truth that is painful?

well life, advice, & motivation says

accepting, surrendering and becoming aware of the pressent moment is key!.

often times we make assumptions or start to overthink situations, making it hard to accept the situation before us as it is.

a famous quote by eckhart tolle : we look at reality through the screen of our thinking and our judgment which is conditioned by the past.

being able to deal with a situation that hurts us means we have to accept it and move forward.
Moving forward to finding the next best possible solution

this week on life advice and motivation we want you to find the next best solution to a problem or truth that you face in your life that hurts you so badly.

Remember, What doesnt kill you makes you stronger!!

next weeks topic ! saying goodbye !!

Life Advice N Motivation -Week 10: Erasing The Ego

The EGO.

What is it?

1. The self, especially as distinct from the world and other selves.
2. In psychoanalysis, the division of the psyche that is conscious, most immediately controls thought and behavior, and is most in touch with external reality.
3.
a. An exaggerated sense of self-importance; conceit.
b. Appropriate pride in oneself; self-esteem.

we all know more or less what the ego is.
But some important questions we need to ask are:

Do we recognize our own egos within ourselves?
What does the ego do and how does it effect us?

when somebody thinks highly of themselves we call them egotistical. however being egotistical also occurs when we think lowly of ourselves or victimizing ourselves, or when we subconciously seek attention.

jealousy , insecurity, anger and such feelings all come from the ego. negative aspects of pride, arrogance, and sense of self all come in the form of subconcious thoughts in our head, initially from our egos.Name calling, bullying, or any type of negative expression that makes us subconciously feel better than someone else, is caused by the ego.

to erase the negitivity of the ego, we must first recognize it. to be able to identify that one is being jealous, insecure, angry, egotistical, depressed, sad, spoiled, or whatever it may be, will allow us to make the decision to stop being that way. habitually living without an ego creates charming people within our characters. we learn to live with and appreciate the things we have and treat people and ourselves the way we should be treated.

this week on life advice and motivation we want you to recognize yourself being egotistical, and never do it again!

Life Advice & Motivation -Week 9: The Art of Appreciation

This week on life advice_ & motivation, we talk about appreciation: A principle that most people forget to practice.

Everyone wants to feel appreciated, but not everybody gives appreciation. But but appreciation for people isnt the only thing that we willbe talking about this week.

APPRECIATION for all things is what we want to teach on life advice and motivation.
Often times we are so busy thinking about the things we want but dont have.
we often forget to appreciate people and deeds, we forget to appreciate things we do have, and most of all we forget to appreciate being alive, sometimes we even forget how to appreciate ourselves!

We ask : Why should we appreciate anyways and why is it important?

The definition of apprecitation shows for itself!

ap·pre·ci·a·tion (-prsh-shn)
n.
1. Recognition of the quality, value, significance, or magnitude of people and things.
2. A judgment or opinion, especially a favorable one.
3. An expression of gratitude.
4. Awareness or delicate perception, especially of aesthetic qualities or values.
5. A rise in value or price, especially over time.

Often times when we get used to having something or somebody doing a favor of some sort for us, it becomes an expectation or because we are so used to having it, we forget to appreciate it because we think its always there.
this applies to relationships, opportunities, assets, and time.

being able to show appreciation is an art because most of us don't do it at all, but it would benefit both us and others in great ways.

The hardest thing about appreciation is seeing past the distractions that stop us from seeing the value in what we have. often wen we lose things we realize we should have appreciation. so its true that we only realize somethings worth when its gone!

this week on life advice & motivation we want you to appreciate something or notice something or someone that you usually dont. show someone appreciation and be thankful towards them, or simply just be thankful for the things you have!!! this weeks video :

Life Advice N Motivation -Week 8: The Origin of Emotion

Anger, sadness, jealousy, happiness, fear, and the list goes on.
Emotions, where do they come from? What sparks them?

You might say, emotions come from things that other people do to us, or things that happen in our lives, but emotions realy come from thoughts.

for example, fear is caused by a thought of something happening in the future, sadness is caused by thoughts of the past or memories, anger is caused by thoughts of disbelief. anxiety is caused by thinking too much!!!
Every emotion is initially caused by a thought.Especially because thoughts build on each other its hard to keep your mind clear constantly. This week on life advice & motivation, we teach that if you can eliminate negative thoughts, and stay conscious in the present moment , we can eliminate emotion. to avoid thoughts using distraction is a helpful tool to keep our minds off of things that make us feel certain feelings.

learning to be aware of the thoughts we have, will allow us to make the choice to think about other things that dont spark certain feelings. ALso, instead of ignoring our emotions or supressing them, if we do not look into our emotions, we will always be stuck with those emotions. this is because thought processes recreate emotion constantly.

this weeks motivational video is a deep explanation about emotion by spiritual teacher eckhart tolle,

this week on life advice and motivation, we want you to try puting negative energy, thoughts and emotion into a positive action!

stay tuned for next week

Life Advice N Motivation -Week 7 : Prioritizing; Life Management

Since we kept our followers waiting this week, we will be talking about procrastinating, poor time management, and prioritizing on life advice and motivation.

what prevents us from prioritizing properly? what causes us to procrastinate?

The human condition is : Thinking.

Thinking causes feelings to spark in us, causing different moods to decide what we wanna do over what we should be doing.

If you too find that you are not getting things done in your life, and when you look back on your life your life is gone, then its time too sit down and realy figure out what you want to do with your life and whats realy important. starting with thinking about whats most important to you.

To think about the value of the outcome of the things you have to do, along with the consequences of what would happend if you didnt get the things you need to get done , done..

day turns to night and night turns to day again and when we ask ourselves what we have acomplished.

the key to getting things done is finding the will to focus.
this week on life advice and motivation we ask, what gives you the will to focus and get things done from most imporant, to least important? what is your motivation ? what would the consequences be if you didnt get something you should done? and is doing something less important worth the consequential outcome of not doing it?

Life Advice N Motivation -Week 6: Choosing friends

Friends. They love us, They hurt us, They leave us, They are there for us, they do stupid things with us. But Who are they? Do we really need them? And if we do, what impact do they have and which are the right ones for us?
Naturally, we attract to those who are similar to ourselves in character - hobbies, likes, dislikes, principles, values , morals. but sometimes our friends dont do us the favour of being benefitial motivationally.
Friends are like habits, you have good ones and bad ones and both effect you the same way as good or bad habits do. Being able to complement the goals you have in your life with the right people is an important thing.
for example if you have goals of being successful in school or in your career choice, would it be better to make friends with people who are extra curricularly involved in things related or not related to what your major focus in life is?

"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born."- Anais Nin

The following quote shows us that friends become a part of us, and influence us hugely.
every one can make friends easily if we realy try, but life advice and motivation says, in life we must cut out the wrong people in our lives, just like how we should cut out our bad habits, such as eating too much salt, or smoking. the more we intake something that leads us to unhealthy things, the more we have a negative and down hill effect on ourselves. The truth is, the people we let into our lives usualy have a bigger negative impact on us than our regular habits that we take part in.

This week on life advice & motivation, we want you to re-evaluate your friends and the people in your life that impact it negitivily. this week is all about observing who is good for us and who is bad for us and who we need to get rid of in our lives in order to live better and reach certain goals.
This weeks video talks about cutting off destructive relationships with people who have a negative effect on us in our lives and prevent us from reaching our goals.

Life Advice N Motivation -Week 5: Habits; The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.

Habits. Some we grow to have as a child, some develop within just 14 days of repeating. But which ones are good for us? Which should we give up for the sake of our mental , emotional and physical health?
This week on Life advice & Motivation we evaluate what we do on a regular basis , and  what we really should be doing on a regular basis.
As children we are raised to live by a norm, of when to eat, when to sleep, what to do and what not to do. As we grow older, we loose good habits, and hold on to new and usually bad ones. When it comes to the bad ones, we usually dont realize that they are hurting us, because we do them everyday. Only a deep look at long term effects would show the harmfull effects of a habbit such as smoking.
Bad habits tend to take over our lives silently and lead us into a downward spiral of negativity, poor health and sometimes almost no way out.

But what is the key to having the right habbits and getting out and rid of the bad ones?

The first is to recognize what habbits are causing negative changes in your emotional, mental and physical state.

Once you have recognized these habits, you must realy choose if you want to change them or not.

For example, A person who has a habbit of smoking, perhaps an addiction, likes to smoke but wants to quit.

What does it take to do so?

Two words. Will Power.

And if your a smoker, try BBQ flavoured sunflower seeds! They are just as addictive and better for your health!
How strong are we on the inside that we can set aside bad habits? And how week are we on the inside that we let bad habits, even pathetic objects take over us and bring us down?

These are all questions we want followers to ask themselves this week.
But how do we really get rid of a bad habbit? By replacing it with a good one.
It takes 14 days to learn a habit, for instance, Jogging every day, will get you into the routine of jogging every day. Eating properly for two weeks straight will get you into the habit of always eating properly.

Things to try this week : Stop doing something that is bad for you!, Start doing something that is good for you! Try doing this for 2 weeks straight.
